Freedom Calls Memorial Foundation

Freedom Calls Memorial Foundation Inc. is authorized by the Georgia Army National Guard to supervise the construction of the official memorial at Clay National Guard Center to commemorate the service members of the Georgia National Guard who have lost their lives in the service of their country during the Global War on Terrorism. The mission of the Foundation is to work with corporate sponsors, the general public and military service organizations to encourage media attention to this mission and to raise the funds necessary to complete the memorial. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization composed of service members and family members of those who are being remembered on the Wall.

This memorial is being built in a place of appropriate reverence and prominence in front the Joint Forces Headquarters of the Georgia National Guard in Marietta, Georgia. It will include bronze plaques honoring each service member and the Foundation will provide the additional landscaping and lighting to make the memorial a special place for reflection and remembrance by both the family members and the public. We are pleased to announce that the Freedom Calls Memorial Foundation, in association with the OHIO Chapter, National League of POW/MIA Families is offering memorial bracelets to honor a service member who’s sacrifice you wish to remember.

History of the POW/MIA Bracelet

This organization is the only vendor that can produce authentic and authorized memorial bracelets which originated in the late 1960′s by a now-defunct organization,Voices in Vital America (VIVA).

KIA braceletThese bracelets are made of durable stainless steel, 1/2 inch wide and can bear the name, rank, service branch, country of loss and date of loss. The data is engraved on the bracelets and you may choose to memorialize any US service member including those 42 members of the Georgia National Guard who we honor and remember on the Freedom Calls Memorial at Clay National Guard Center.
